I love the way you incorporate surrealism into so many of your works, and here, it's aged like a classic sepia print: that whole photographed surrealism vibe works incredibly well! I also like the disproportionately large cats, or maybe the disproportionately small horses? Either way, the shift in size really calls attention to the mood of the piece rather than it's literal aspects, and it's always the non-literal stuff that's so darn interesting! The crows in flight are simply perfect! The whole fact that the animals depicted here are largely black. There's nothing ominous or dark about this image, to me, and yet there are "dark symbols" which seem more playful than anything else! I like that, because it seems to peel away preconceptions and provide a little playful surprise, and well...I love playful surprises in art! They're always free! This is fantastic stuff!
