Practicing surface layers in Terragen 0.9 unregistered version.
Terrain by joshus_hund found as a freebie on his homepage (he's doing fantastic Terragen renders!), modified by me. Atmo and surface by myself.

I got a bit tired of not being able to add plants in TG classic, so I tried something new and rendered the plants in Bryce, then added them in Picture Publisher as postwork. Please see full size for details.

Hope you'll let me know what you think, a special thanks here to Danny Gordon and Rich2 for their critical, very helpful and encouraging comments!

Like this terrain alot, I think its American Dream by J. Hund (Love It) Really like the colossal type POV you've found on it. Plant postwork really helps this surface. Nice render, keep them coming !!!!

@Danny: Yes, you're absolutely right, the terrain IS American Dream by J. Hund indeed. Too bad that I had to resize it to 512 x 512 for TG classic. I just added a few more elevations in the foreground.

Thanks for all your comments, everybody!

Very nice surface work and great postwork. The plants are well-fitting with the surface. Well done Susanne.

This reminds me of my favourite place on the planet...northeastern Arizona on the Navajoe reservation.
