To each his own, I guess. Whatever blows your skirt up, right? Trackside on a cold, snowbound night with holiday lights aglow (and once again, there are a lot of lights in this one!) is a fine place for railfans to find themselves.
A note on this image: A jpg conversion from the original 5meg 1600 x 1200 bmp file produced some nasty artifacts. I had to go with a png conversion. However, the file size was too large for Renderosity in anything larger than 800 x 600. To see the 1600 x 1200 full-sized image, you might want to view it at:
All models are Wings3d and Bryce5 originals. Postwork in PSP8. Thanks for lookin’!

Very cool image! I would save it as a jpeg for web. If you have photoshop - save as web file. Here's an example I've learned that maintains quality but file size low (from CG Society):
• Using Photoshop, resample your image to 1600 width or height, ensuring that the other dimension is lower than 1600. (as an example)
• Save for Web, and next to "Settings" click on the arrow and to "Optimize to file size" - set to 500KB. (as an example). hope it makes sense!
