About 30 miles east of Cuba, New Mexico is an area called Trail Creek (formerly known as Reed Canyon).
Stories have been told that when a storm is coming and the conditions are just right, you can hear wagons and horses moving, bits jingling, harnesses creaking, whips cracking, and people's voices talking. Sometimes these sounds will continue for several hours. Apparently animals and birds avoid this place. Many people won't go near the area and say that it is haunted.
This is my Halloween tribute to Trail Creek.
