A little stop along the way to find a mill, it was a beautiful fall day, and very hard not to stop and explore many times but that is all part of the fun. And I did find the mill I went in search of I will post one of those tomorrow. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
I don't normally stay inside much on a day like today but its all baseball today, Yankees/Twins game at 6 Dodgers/Cardinal game at 9:30. I have my fingers crossed for a California World series.
The one thing you can definitely count on in Southern California is heavy freeway traffic.
The one thing we'd like to see, but can't depend on, is a Freeway Series.
It has been something that's been talked about for decades, since 1962 when the Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Angels of Nowhere Near Anaheim were both in pennant races. The Dodgers blew the National League pennant in a playoff with the Giants, while the Angels had a winning record in their second season and finished third in the American League.
But like a quote I remember from the movie Angels in the Outfield IT CAN HAPPEN!!
Thanks for your comments and views on my photo below I sure appreciate your support.

Where did you ever get the idea that Southern California traffic is heavy? It couldn't be because there are so many people here, could it? The very epitome of overpopulation.
But I digress. Terrific clarity and textures on display in this fine rustic capture, Lynell!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the Dodgers, and hope they don't go into a no hitting swoon during this series. Manny has really been a disappointment since the All Star Game in July.
