Went on a trip out with a few other members of our Friday club to a Dickensian Festival at Grassington.
Grassington is a quaint little village in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales with the old tradditional shops. The perfect setting for a Dickensian Festival.
It wasn't a Photography day out but lucky for me most of the other members of the party wanted to browse the shops so I had A few minutes at a time on my own to explore what was going on and to mingle between the crowds.
I'm thinking this could be a good time to upload a whole series from the day.

What a cute bunch of street urchins... they are almost perfect except for the poor little tart to the left who looks like she was freezing her willies. Ah, you darn Brits are soooo lucky to have a culture that lets you do this with authenticity!

Wonderful idea to mingle a little around in the crowd! This four young people seem to have a lot of fun. Their clothes look great and I decide in this moment again, to read Dickens "American Journey" where he describes the live circumstances in the early USA.....
