Playng with last render i found this strange effect on the water trasparency trhough the water;
The trick is the reflective layer under water, if i remove it the water lighting disappear, also if i put the sun lower the effect is not noticeable.
Btw a lot of raytracing error made me render this one in two separate part; higher and lower and then merge them in psp.
So you could see slight colour difference between high and low part.
Anyway Hope you like it
Best regards

Fantastic mood and light! The sun's reflections on the water and the wet sand are perfect. One thing you might want to try is to add some foam in postwork. Just a suggestion though, the image is really beautiful the way it is!

Wonderful, looks like the ocean is inside a glass box!?
Due to the relative size of the wave and the beach, i agree with Gerberc, some foam would be llike a ice-cream topping!!!

Pretty cool render Max!Congrats!The look of this alien wave is really awesome.Not so realistic 'cause there is no foam between the beach and the wave, but the texture is stunning and the trasparency is outstanding!
I must agree with others: foam is a must!I know this is pure terragen but some photoshop foam brushes would have made it perfect!(especially with some glass/water style actions!)
