| This I hope is a beginning of a new phase in my artwork. I figure I have been taking advantage of all the amazing items other people have contributed so it is about time I started submitting objects for the community to use. And if people like the objects that I submit in Free Stuff, I may start creating objects for sale. But first, I intend to submit at least three or four free items so that people can comment and guide me on the right path before I even consider submitting something to the marketplace. The futuristic coastal defense tower, I modeled in Wings 3D. It has been a great learning exercise and I must admit that I prefer Wings 3D to Blender for general modeling. Blender I always felt uncomfortable with and difficult to use, however Wings 3D is much easier. I will be submitting this tower object to Renderosity Free Stuff as a Vue 6 VOB with an untextured 3DS and untextured OBJ as well. I have tested the 3DS and OBJ in Poser 5 and Bryce 6. Hope they accept it ;P The shark and the fish are from the objects supplied with Vue 6 Pro Studio. The seagulls are Simple Gull by Colin Swift ('Digital I'), a poser model hosted on Renderosity Free Stuff. Thanks for comments on my previous images. Enjoy :) |
