fiddling in the dark
reaching for the slot

found my way this morning
after trancing around
halfassleep
thinking about
all those yesterdays futures

chocolate cake and
ice cream treats
after much white zin
squeezing grapes
up late
alamode
clicking spoons held up
miniature fencing matches between bites
plates on our bellies
nibbles licks
tou-che(s)
sticky ears
folds
skins
crumbs
through the night

you
on your stomach
as I cross the room
by this morning light
shadows and curves
your lines
stir
me...

brushing teeth
remembering

as we laughed
outloud

grackled cackled
crackled hooped and hollered
at the world
at nobody
at us
with all
this crazy
visual realm
we exist/live in

it is not
who
you are
but
more at
what you :

look at
look like
look you!

you
sees/seens/seems
that defines
that defiles
that defies
as all it all goes...

again

once again with
that bright refrain
with tilts and spins

again

ancient distant
cyclic pains with burden
clear strings and strains

again

gripping
constant intense the pain
cannot explain

again

grabbing
tearing apart confused
drained weakness remains

then
again

as sunshine
that arrives
after heavy rains

all
again

this too
shall pass
as the way abides

kindness allow
lay all aside
pass through
as a screen
all attached

all things return
to recount try again
until the right and proper turn

individuals within a culture
not considered
having normal development

what happens

can a whole culture
be mentally ill
