Mount Athos is a 1000 years old monastic semi-governed area in peninsula of Athos in south Macedonia Greece, dedicated in worshipping God. The place is of tremendous natural beauty and the ancient Monasteries and various other buildings enhance even more its beauty.
The only way to reach this place is by boat. One of the peculiarities is that only men are allowed to enter this place.

I love the composition and pov on this, though I do have a suggestion. Do you still have the negative? If so, a drum scan or even a slide scanner like a Nikon Coolpix or Minolta Dual Scan III (have both) will yield much better results for presentation. Scanning a photograph will always be a bit blurrier. And what, no women lol!
All the best!

Very nice old-looking image, some kind of window opening into the ancient times. In fact it was quite a recent picture taken with a serious silver SLR (you do not speak about the lens, but even with lo-price zoom at this small-scale it should have a higher definition), I am surprised that you could not have it sharper, because you use a much better scanner than me. Try to scan your print at 300dpi, it should be better.
