No longer limited to the open seas, this small band of travelers has taken to the open sky! Soaring high above the world enjoying the freedom that only flight can give.

Finally, I've had a few moments free to finish this artwork. Life has been so crazy the last six months that I have had almost no time at all for products or artwork. I miss it terribly.

A very big thank you (and plug) for Andrea Caruso, aka Black Rain for creating this wonderful model. I was honored when he sought permission to use my MAT sets in it's creation. He has a wonderful feel for this style of fantasy design and I couldn't help but be inspired to do this artwork. I rendered the original at 7200 pixels wide so I can ouput a truly wall worthy poster of it. By comparison, this one is only 1024 pixels wide.

The backdrop is a photo I took out of an airline window earlier this year. The figures are various poser and freebie figures in my library.

Comments and suggestions always welcome. :-)

Not sure which I like best: the integration of phtotography and 3D, the slightly skewed and cropped composition or the framing. Aw, heck, it's all good.

A superb integration with the photo, thought it all was a photo at first, strange how easily the mind can be fooled by man made items but not natural thing. Wonderful scene.
