For this image I used DAZ Studio, 48 hours of posing, 2,48 hours of rendering, a quarter of a bottle of Absinthe, and a deep sorrow.

Watching what is happening in Lebanon, deeply saddens me. Listening our degenerate leaders justifying the killing of 18 children up to now, infuriates me. Decorum prevents me from further comments.
====
I did this picture as a way to exorcise the deeply disturbing images which I've seen from TV, with something that I consider pleasing.
====
Most of the items here are from DAZ and RDNA,
I will try to locate the artists who did the rest of the props & characters in order to pay my dues to their creators.

No words about violence all over the world.
We don't have the rights to kill another man, child, woman, or what else lives in this world.
I prefer talking about peace, friendship and love... and about this beautiful render, so rich in detail and that resemble a portrait and not a 3d render.
Great Work!!

Gorgeous scene ... and I have to agree about the atrocities occurring in Lebanon and Gaza. You'd think that a people singled out for genocide during the Nazi regime would know better. Looks like a national case of the abused child syndrome. I've seen the pictures of the devastation and murder of innocent civilians in what once was the Paris of the Mideast. I don't normally watch television but caught some of the coverage on CNN ... you'd think that this outrage is Disney-esque police action where no innocent people or animals are injured. Now I heard on Democracy Now! that the IDF is using cluster bombs and white phosphorus. I've tipped over the edge of disgust.

I have personally seen the misery that mankind bestows upon itself many times and saddened by the fact that...we have not yet found the answer to that burning question..Why!

Beautiful image..Thank You for posting.

Take it easy on the Absinthe, and keep caring.. the world won't change unless there are people like you in it who truely do. Beautiful image - thank you for sending out a hope of true peace in it.

A beautiful and well crafted scene. The attention to detail is superb!
Shame upon our leaders who inflict such suffering upon the helpless.

The way the world is going now is terrific, therefore, on September 11th, I posted "Peace tree" so that one does'nt forget. This summer too I wondered how it was possible to kill so many innocent people in the near-East; war has ceased since, but a whole country is ruined and it shall not regain the lives for the deceased. I have been CO and thirty years after I do'nt regret it. It's great time to fight for peace and I'm happy that many Renderosity artists are conscious of that. Thanks a lot for sharing this great image, Byron.
