Its been a while since last post but thanks for all of your encouraging words.

Modeled in Bryce 5.5 - Used negative bump height on the mat for the effect. Some post in PS7 - I bet you can't miss that.

wow!! this rocks!!
bump is excellent and mats are super but it is the design for me personally that is the main winner here!!
wonderful shape!!! maybe (only my opinion) tweek the central mirrored sphere a little but that is just me

Ok, if you look at the top part of this image, you can see a face and the whole of this reminds me of Jaba the Hut. I think you should put a skull (with the same matting, not facing the camera though) in down near the bottom where it is round. You'd get a completely different image with a different feel...like the Esperat King evilly lording over his dominion. Well, forget everything I just said....I just got carried away, lol ;)
