I sit back
Watch people
And laugh
They are all in their own little bubbles
Bouncing off each other
In their bubbles they all think
They’re cool
They’re funny
They’re popular
They’re right
The funny thing is
No one knows they’re in a bubble
They don’t see how they really are
Their little bubbles protect them from reality
What kind of a bone head
Couldn’t tell they live in a bubble
Then one day
I saw a man sitting back
Watching me
And laughing
Thank God for bubbles

What a delightful way of putting the isolation everyone feels. Well done.

A unique perspective and well written work! I just think "I" need a MUCH bigger ''bubble''? WINK. T.P.

Your honesty is simply hillarious! Full of humour! Lovely! I'm afraid my bubble has burst a long time ago. Reality is always so stark and ugly...

A mixture of much humor and a touch of sadness. You have a lovely light touch that humorously opens up an aspect of the human condition for us to smile but also wonder about. (This time your words are a nightcap. Good night my friend.)
