A conceptual image of someone with a broken heart. Some would think that this woman has a broken heart over a lost love, but that isn't the only thing that can leave one in utter despair. I wasn't broken hearted when I created this image, but I was three years ago when I lost my job, my beautiful home, and all of my money when the company I'd worked for for many years breeched their contract with me. I'm still trying to recover from that nightmare...not only financially but also emotionally, and sometimes the pain of the loss returns. Perhaps it always will...

what an innovative pose and use of prop. i am sorry for your experiences -- and yes, IME some things are never forgotten. and i don't know about you, but it gives me some relief if i can express despair in some creative way instead of just letting it darken my life. and this image is an exquisite expression.

Itīs the best performance I ever have seen with Samilīs "Borken Hearts"!!! I agree with you that a broken heart is not only a result of a lost love as so many other bad things can be happen, and this always takes a longer time to recover as a "love sick". A real masterwork of digital-art!
