Some Mystics believe that what we experience in this world of ours is but one version of reality. According to them there are many versions, many variants, of the same event that are spread along the infinite number of parallel worlds constituting the True Universe. I find this belief attractive and have often amused myself speculating on how historical events would have evolved in some other reality, parallel to our own –similar, yet different. Imagine for example a world where women would have taken the upper hand, shaping history, while men would stay at home, raising children and waiting eagerly for the return of their victorious (or defeated) warrior wives!

I decided to start a series on this “what if” theme, trying to visualize some moments in our history as they could have developed in this hypothetical parallel universe of female supremacy. Any requests or ideas are always welcome… :)

El Alamein:, Oct 23, 1942. The Axis Forces under General Erwina Rommel are defeated by the Allies in a decisive battle that caused many deaths. The Afrika Korps is forced to a retreat. Rumors say that there have been bitter arguments between the Germans and their Allies, who apparently did not share the same views on how a war should be fought.

I like the idea ... waging war while my husband stays home and cooks, cleans and tends to our daughter. You could do a what if : Hitler was a woman and have a lady with facial hair. LOL Interesting idea.

Fuel delivered by intermittent subs....Rommel's plan for defending the continent against Allied Invasion was wrong-headed (then,in a limo, BLAM!). Winnie (on the side of genocide in the Boer War) wanted an ENGLISHMAN hero and played up Monty, who was the mother of all FOOK PUTZES in Market Garden. By the way, Patton, who learned at the hoof of Villa's hosses, had enormous respect for IKE, and could not have been Patton without him. WAC(K)S flew bombers for delviery to Angleterre....On to the BULGE (superb) Oh, AH's Afrika Corps and Stalingrad (old board version) were topz....

Nice concept, interesting way to look through history, how about the Roman Empire never falled? Or the predominating of an alien helped Egyptian culture dominating the world... (bit too fantastic i think...)

A "Königstiger" in 1942-1943 ? An anachronism that would have made the Germans win the battle (and probably the war too). Despite the different dresscode.
