I saw a rabbit sitting in the cold and bare

just laying in the bitter air

his red eyes shinned in the snow

a shiver ran up his spine and twiched his nose

I looked in his red eyes

he told me without speaking he was going to die

I was suddenly overwelmed with surprise

as I swore I saw the rabbit cry

I slowly pulled back the trigger and let the bullet go

and the rabbit no longer felt the cold
