| And now for something completely different.. (Just have an urge to post...so bear with me for a second) ;) Top image: _I had modeled this knife a few years ago for one of our modeling challenges, here on the Rhino forum, but never rendered it in time for that purpose. I eventualy did later on and was then using a beta version of Flamingo when that came out. I *think* I had used a light-dome. The knife itself is a Laguiole, made in Southern- France (they are hand-made). My own (real) has a rosewood body,I had rendered this model in "shiny blue thingie"...Can't explain why now... Bottom image: _the chess set isn't new either but I thought I'd post this pic too... It's been posted in Brian Perry's Rhinoman website for a while but it'll join this gallery as well...Just want to "hang" a few more images here. So I had modeled a complete set ( 3 pieces only on this image but I did a complete set, really... just never rendered it...). The board itself was meant to be rosewood and maple, with these little Lapis Lazuli "bricks"...Humm...Maybe I did get a bit carried away there, don't know... ;) This was rendered with BMRT/Rhinoman, irradiance. |

by Death_at_Midnight on Jan 8, 2006 3:47:58 am [homepage] I really like your renders. Was doing a search on Chess and yours came up. Very impressive work on the knight. | |
