Inspired my a movie I saw a very long time ago. "Titus" with Anthony Hopkins "Victorius Roman general Titus (Hopkins) has just defeated the Goths and has captured Tamora, the Goth Queen and her sons, one of whom Titus promptly sacrifices to appease the gods. Decadent Emperor Saturninus claims Tamora for his queen; her daughter Lavinia suffers a fate worse than death; Tamora wants revenge; Titus wants revenge. If you think revenge is sweet - taste this . . ." Lavinia hands were chopped off and she was left standing on a stump with sticks shoved into her wrists and tied very tightly with string to keep them in there. Happy Halloween/Samhain Everyone!
