In the wake of the tragedy following the hurricane Katrina, it is easy to forget what happened on September 11, 2001, in New York City. I will never forget that day. I was a reporter then, and when I arrived at the police station for a story everyone was watching television. I thought they had on a disaster movie - too bad it wasn't. Where were you?

this is beautiful and excellently done. I at home, I turned on the TV to watch my show and there it was. I watched as the second plane slammed into the building, half in disbelief. How could this happen? I'll never forget and I don't think anyone will. Hugs Maria

I read a quote recently:

"The price of freedom is eternal vigilance."

- Thomas Jefferson

Thanks.

Ditto on MaraxCruz's Thomas Jefferson quote. Anyone who know's Jefferson's sentiments, however, knows he feared a different aggressor. Beautiful image. Should be one to make us solemnly agrieved yet asking uneasy questions. Let us never forget the unnecessary deaths.

What can you say about that day. What can you say about any attack on innocent people world wide... It is the act of 100% COWARDS and do not know the concept of honor. And terrorists think.... who has your back? is it your leaders or god... because you and I will all be judged in the end .... and what if you are wrong? Peace and love is the the only way to be accepted by god... We all understand world wide of injustice, look at the victims of Katrina.... they are the poor like you... they striggle and a few of you laugh at thier misfortune..... well most of us in in the U.S. want peace... look in your hearts and really feel for people. U.S. states and world wide communities need to pomote peace.... I am not a rich person, but we all have a duty to honor life ... to people world wide... 99% of us in the U.S. do not pull strings because we have no $,,,,, but we do care about of us in the world.. enough said for an old man.....peace world wide.... art is GOD

Excellent image, I was driving back from work with a friend when we heard about the first plane crashing in. We thought it was an accident, but when we heard about the second plane we did not believe what we heard it was like we were listening to a fake broadcast. We stopped the car and just sat and listened for over an hour to what was hapening. We must not forget this day ever.........
