What a wonderful birthday dedi this is Lucinda, and as always so well thought out. This Spanish Moss is obviously beautiful in it's own right, but by waiting to catch it when the sun was just right you managed to make it appear even more glorious.

I do love the display of 'Spanish Moss', and it does look like an old man's beard and that is, what some locals call it here in the land of OZ ...
a fine late catch of the day, Lucinda

Happy Birthday Dana and many happy returns ...

Just love the perspective of the low sun through the bough of the tree spot lighting the moss. Thank you so much for the wishes.

I almost expect to see little green and orange fae fluttering around the branches glowing in the yellow rays of the low sun. They would be busy doing mischievous things like casting lust spells on unwary passing humans. And then fashioning their trade mark 'Glowy Orbs' which they would trade for whiskey at the local pub.
Ah, thoughts of whimsey. A lovely dedication for your friend too.
