Or something that looks like it? I've tried various things, but they look stupid. An elongated cylinder with the ambient light turned up just looks like people being impaled on a glowing flag pole. I can do a wavy beam on a flat plane with a transparency map, but it's flat, and I do 3D pictures. I have no 3D modeling skills. :-(

file_bf8229696f7a3bb4700cfddef19fa23f.jpHere's the one I tried to do that was more like the one in the movie. It's a modified one-sided square with a transparency map, so it isn't dimensional. A simple one like in the painting is all I really need.

Thanks bwldrd, the DAZ stuff is the fairest of them all! I was looking for a more focused, intense beam. It's a good thing I keep checking! :-)

Talos ill have a bash at making you an object you can use ok? shouldnt take too long its only really a cylinder with a helix wrapped around it
