Subject: C4D workflow question: baking xpresso driven parameters

Hi everyone,

I would like to bake some xpresso driven parameters into animation tracks, is it possible and how would it be done?

Thanks for any suggestion.

Case: I am using a driver-driven -generated Xpresso tag to regulate an animation. Essentially I am using a dynamic sphere attached with springs to the points of a primitive. As the primitive is moved around (e.g. child of an actor) the displacements of the sphere relative to the primitive can be used to collect information on inertia. The driver-driven workflow allows to use this information to drive some parameters (e.g. rag doll style).

Sorry, can't help :/ You might want to take this over to CGTalk as the Xpresso-knowledge there is quite impressive.

Thank You Anders for Your suggestion,

I just posted a thread in the C4D forum at CGTalk (missing the quite appropriate Xpresso subforum! Ouch!).

I think scripting could do it, which means SOME learnign for me! (I know the basics, like opening the script editor and then the browser to search "what next?", it's all that's needed to get started actually ;) )

Thanks
