I have a huge still image that I had sent to a render farm. Now I need to re-render just a certain portion and the rend farm will not work with render region enabled.  I see that you can not use the zoom on perspective view. How can I easily do this?

Thanks,

Steve

A tip that Kromekat used many years ago is to use a black plane over the front of the camera with a hole of the part of the render showing.

It'll render quicker (use composit tags etc..) and 5 mins in photoshop and voila!

That is a great way to render sections and to enhance the trick: remember to disable ALL channels of the material you apply to the plane (you want it completely black), and add a Compositing tag with everything unchecked but Seen by Camera.
