I'm Still Here!
I got a new laptop for my birthday and now I'm playing around with it. I have added some graphic-related program to the laptop like Bryce and Terragen. I also downloaded a version of Daz Studio and while that downloaded fine I don't have any contents/models ie Victoria include with it. I'm still trying to figure out where I can get the contents but I haven't found a place for sure yet.
My how time flies!
It's been a while since I have been here but don't worry 'cause I haven't stopped with my 3D's - LOL!!
I will be posting some of my renders soon.
Y'all come back now you hear!
FINALLY! I Got More Hard Drive Space!
Had Windows compress some of my files so now I have at least 10GB's of hard drive space! This gave me a chance to play around with Terragen 2 which you should know is a slow-rendering program - at least it is for me!
Here is a render from the program that I made
Just looked at my email and saw that Daz Studio has a new release of Michael 5.
Now I think that's great but would you believe that I am still working with both the Michael and Victoria 3 models???? I do have V4 installed on my computer and have played around with the model a little bit but I'm still working with and am used to the Victoria and Michael3 characters.
I just don't think that my computer could take another major download for a little while and I'm glad that there are people out there still making models for the V3 and M3 characters.
My Harddrive Space Project Continues..............
I was doing good there for a while when I almost managed to get 1 GiG of hard drive space but my process involves going over the files that I have downloaded looking to see which I could delete and it seems that I'm adding to the hard drive space instead of taking away from it - LOL!
I have been unzipping some files that I have downloaded and they are quite good! I have even managed to download some nice little programs including one that lets me create new fonts - but again, this is adding to my hard drive and not taking away from it - LOL!
I downloaded a low poly object of a street scene but obsessive as I am I found out that when I imported the object into my Bryce program that I couldn't surface individual parts so what I did was import the object into Wings3d and I'm individualizing the parts - it's something like 69 individual parts and as you can imagine this is adding to my hard drive space and not taking away from it - LOL!
I also found out something very interesting about object files and that is that you can open them in notepad where you can edit them.
So that's my continuing project for right now - deleting stuff so that my hard drive space is bigger - wish me luck!
