This is my updated version of Crusader Knights for M3. This version is for Mike 4 and Daz Valiant plus
Hooded cloak (the first is free, the latter are Platinum ClLub items). All the textures in this pack are
new from scratch and improved. Better fabrics, higher resolution maps. I have tried to put maximum detail in my
textures. As in the first pack you also get in this pack the Richard Lionheart as a bonus!
The textures are not "matching" as I tried to keep it as historical as possible. Meaning the brown
leather of the boots is not the same as the belt or bracers, the red fabric of the Hospitaller tabbard
is not the same red fabric of the cape etc. because in reality items did not "match". This is done on
purpose.
Most textures have a simple "knight" version with iron buckles and studs etc. and a 'rich" version for
King Richard (golden buckles, studs, more elaborate bracers, decorated scabbard, cloak etc.).
Crusader outfit had to be kept to the minimum. Templars were not allowed any posessions.
There are 11 tabbard-textures for the following crusader orders: Hospitallers, Hospitallers of St.John,
Hospitaller of St. Lazare de Jerusalem, Templars and Teutonic knights. Three of these come with a
original latin cross and a later malteser cross. The Teutonic knight comes with black cross, or black-yellow eagle cross., making nine different textures, plus another Templar texture of a ripped battleworn tabbard and the Richard Bonus tabbard.
There are 5 matching cloaks for the Daz Hooded cloak, the black for the hospitaller, the red for the
hospitaller of Saint John and the white for the other orders. There is a special templar cloak with the
distuingishing red cross on it and an elebaroate cloak for Kind Richard Lionheart. There is a matpose
file for the hood on or hood off.
The chainmail texture comes with matposes for a high collar or a low collar.
Furthermore two pants textures, a black and a coarse off-white fabric.
Three scabbard textures, brown, black and decorated with a cross.
Two belts, a simple iron buckle and a golden buckle.
Five textures for the boots, simple brown or black and decorated with studs.
Two textures for the bracers, simple leather and lion decorated for Richard.
As a bonus a complete set for king Richard (tabbard, cloak, special bracers, boots)
I also added two smartprops, a half nose-helmet and a full closed vizir crusader helmet.
There are no textures for the Valiant sword, leg-guards and shoulder-guards as I found them too fantasy
for historical (as far as possible) crusaders. I have used in the promos the free Templar sword by Porsimo.
(14th Century style Great helm for M3 & Templar sword).
The burlap of King Richard is not included (I used the Arab warrior headdress by poserworld) and the
crown is also not included (free at RDNA - http://www.runtimedna.com/news.php?viewStory=1090)!!!.
Besides the characters, the crown and burlap of Richard and the Porsimo sword, everything you see in
the promos is included.
