Well, to be honest, after the last couple of VOM sales, I'm a bit disappointed in this one. I mean, I didn't expect 50% off on the City Blocks, but 15% off on the major items just doesn't feel like anything special.
When i saw 50% off i expected to buy a bunch of the movie sets, then i went into the store and pretty much everything looked normal priced.
Yes, disappointed. I was looking forward to this sale.
There are items in the vendor's store at 10% off, 15% off, 25% off, 35% off, , 40% off and 50% off as advertised. Different types of products were priced at different amounts/percentages. There are some wonderful deals throughout DreamlandModels's store!
Least interesting VOM sale to date. Clearance for old and low-res items.

Ok - so the sale is sort of a let-down, but... Why don't you create a "BYOB" or "Build Your Own Bundle" sale? with 25% - 45% off, depending on whether you bought 3,4,5 or more city blocks. Now I'd go for that!
Thanks for the sale.
I was hoping for 50% off on the City Blocks, because my money is so tight. I have all the blocks up to 10. The new ones and the low ones have been wishlisted.
Oh well, someday.
With the Australian Dollar taking a big hit against the US Dollar stuff like this has gotten expensive so money has gotten very tight at the moment.. Also shame the coupons don't work for bundles..
Can't help seeing it as something of a missed opportunity. The city blocks are wonderfully detailed and obviously represent a lot of work creating them. I have blocks 1 - 13 with the 81 block base and it does create marvelous urban landscapes. But I only bought them as a heavily discounted bundle. Now I'm open to expand my collection with new blocks and compatible movie sets but the prices are still rather high for impulse buying.
With an expanding series and the internet as a distribution method it would seem that profitability based upon a widening user base would be better long-term. So an opportunity to suck in future customers by a really exciting sale would definitely have increased the numbers who buy into future expansions. Me, I'll wait rather than buying random extra locations. Sorry but the general pricing/sale figures don't make for casual purchases
Same here... I've gotten sets which I've loved on sale, but money being tight prevents me from pretty much anything this run...
Yup, I see the same thing from PowerAge. The best most wanted models - 15% off if you're lucky. Dreamland used to have a bundle at 50% off, what happened? Sorry, no sale! I guess your guys have too many customers to provide a real value for your loyal customers that support you. Maybe we'll see you at Christmas time.
Agree with everyone here. Prices are high and the same as before the VOM sale which is unappealing. Its really hard to tell what you get too since I see the same renders in each bundle, too risky since there is no MBG.
I think a lot of people here wanted to see $15 city blocks, which would have been a tipping price for me.
The Movie Sets are created to compliment each other, and the modelling and texture work is amazing. any percentage of discount with the size of the sets is a pretty measurable savings, considering the craftsmanship. The Artist has worked very hard to depict an era where life was simple, be kind and at least compliment his work, regardless of cost.
