The Inspirational Motion Weekly is a showcase of awe-inspiring short films, animation and motion graphic works from around the web. Some pieces featured have been created by professional studios, while others may be personal works. May this weekly segment serve to inspire you.
Now, I know there are many members among us here working in animation, and I would like to extend an invitation to those members to show us your work. I would love to feature you in the next edition! the Hard Problem of Consciousness
Â
Â
Consciousness is still a very difficult thing to understand, but we know it has something to do with the trillions of connections in our brains. Our Fractal brains. Because the grey matter has developed in a similar way as these visuals: very simple beginnings bring forth infinite complexity.

HARING
Â
Haring from KLOMP! Animation on Vimeo.
Â
Haring tells the tale of Diederik, a guy who makes the mistake of eating a herring right before a date. When he finds out his fishy breath destroys everything in its path, he does his best to get rid of the smell, while also trying to reach his date in time.
Haring was made with the collaboration from the Netherlands Film Fund, SNS Reaal and Pathé and was made for the 2014 UltraKort program. The film screened in front of Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" in all Dutch Pathé cinemas.
