I am ready for a journey, a storm or even the unexpected.
In a larger sense, I am ready to listen, to respond and comment, to learn, to teach, to share, to help.
BIO I began taking pictures at about 5 years old. I remember that one of my cameras gave twice as many images as usual for that type of film -- that seemed to be a good idea to me ... until I realized that the local processing wasn't setup for that format. Eventually I realized that the image detail also suffered. Since then, I have always tried to buy the very best camera I could afford at the time.
My formal training in photography consists of one 5 day class "Nature Photography Workshop" given by Steve Diehl of the Rochester Institute of Technology, on location at Big Moose Lake in the Adirondack Mountains of NY state. ... And I certainly learned the difference between a workshop and a seminar from him.
