Hello to all who visit. My name is Danise, and I live north of Seattle by some 40 or45 miles. I was born in 1957. I drive transit bus, have done since 1990, but I steer clear of the big city. I'm near the big city only to earn a living. In a perfect world, my nearest neighbor would be miles away.
Art is such a wonderful passion. I'm currently consumed by photography, apophysis, incendia, xenodream, and now, Bryce. Like a mentor here at Renderosity said, "so many toys, so little time.
I love my family, which consists of a wise and patient man, a senseless cat, three cantankerous parrots, and four large, rambunctious dogs.
I sit up till all hours pawing through the art at Renderosity, feeding my hunger. I give all the artists who have allowed me to see the fruit of their passions, my warmest, most sincere thanks for sharing. Your generosity and also your attention give me joy.
My favorite quote is from Rainer Maria Rilke:
...be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves...
...and the point is to live everything. Live the questions now.
Oh, and one other, though I can't remember the author: (whizstreet googled it. It's attributable to Stephen Leacock, Canadian author and economist.)
"Lord Ronald said nothing;
he flung himself from the room,
flung himself upon his horse
and rode madly off in all directions."
