I have been doing work with Photoshop for about the last 13 years and was introduced to Poser and Vue about 7 years ago. I fell in love with them instantly and have been using them in my work ever since. There are a lot of artists on this site that I admire and who's level of skill I strive to one day attain. I am constantly challenging myself to be better.
I am constantly evolving in my style as is evident if you look at my early work compared to the most recent. One thing that does not change however is my pursuit of that elusive quality that I can only call "Surrealism". This to me means having my work contain at least a hint of that unreal quality...like something you might see in a dream Even if I'm posting a photograph, I don't want it to look like just a photograph. It has to to be altered in such a way as to have a touch of the surreal to it...like you're looking into a different world. While my primary mediums are 3D mixed with 2D postwork and editing, I also enjoy photography and am currently dabbling in learning how digital painting can enhance my work. What I really enjoy is blending several different mediums together for a result that does not qualify as any single one of them, but something that you can't quite categorize...Surrealism :)
My ultimate goals as an artist are to publish my first illustrated novel entitled "Mad World" by 2013 and to eventually produce several lines of high quality character packages for Poser and Daz Studio. This has begun with my first character line, the EVO Series and the first in the series, Ivy for V4 which is out now and which I plan to bring to Renderosity by October 2012 with my own storefront here.
